Children and Worship
Let the children come unto me

At First Congregational Church, UCC, children are welcome to participate in any of our services. The early service at 9 a.m. is a casual, family-centered service that encourages children to participate in all aspects of worship. The 11 a.m. service is held in the sanctuary. It includes a children’s message and an opportunity to witness baptisms. All children are invited to participate in communion. For the convenience of parents with children age two and under, we offer childcare in our safe and secure nursery with paid and volunteer staff.

Children's Library Time
Children, preschool through third grade, are invited to the Children's Library during the 11 a.m. worship service for a special time together. They may make crafts, hear special guests or check books out. When worship is over, parents should pick up their children at the library. On communion Sunday (first Sunday of each month) children return to worship where they have an opportunity to participate in communion.
