Grow.
Classes, studies, and discussions for every age group to grow in their faith and their friendships.
Children
Children of all ages are welcomed and encouraged at First Church as they play a vital part in both worship services. They joyfully serve communion at our 9 a.m. service, act as acolytes and crucifers at 11 a.m service, sing in the Jubilate choir, make friends in their faith formation classes, and participate in Children’s Time. Learn more about all the ways we help children grow not only in their faith but also within a faith community and family. Learn more by clicking below.
Youth
First Church welcomes preteens and teens to participate in gatherings that foster trust, offer support, and help them grow as followers of Jesus. We offer retreats, social and educational outings, summer mission trips, and attendance at United Church of Christ youth events. We believe that faith is most strongly fostered in the context of trusting relationships with other youth and significant adults. Learn more by clicking below.
Adult
Wherever you are on your spiritual journey, you can always learn something new, thought provoking, or exciting. We offer classes that help you grow stronger in your faith while at the same time help you connect with others here at First Church. The program offers various opportunities to learn and grow during our regular Faith Formation time at 10 a.m. Sunday and at other times during the week. Learn more by clicking below.
Milestones
Because your child is a child of God as well as a child of First Church, we celebrate the many milestones in their lives starting with baptism through graduation. Our goal is to help children grow not only in their faith, but also within a faith community and family. Learn. more by clicking below.
